No. We understand how the options could make it appear that way, but the pouch is not an alternative to the tin. Your selected tea comes in a tin canister, or you may choose a compostable refill bag if you already have a tin or prefer not to use one. But you also receive the drawstring travel pouch and heart-shaped metal tea infuser.
