What makes an AD Studio Experience candle different from a regular scented candle?
An AD Studio Experience is designed to engage more than your sense of smell. Each candle combines home fragrance with The AD Studioscape™, a curated audiovisual experience, and a digital AD Studio Companion™ created around the candle's individual theme.
You can enjoy the candle on its own or bring all three elements together when you want a more immersive experience.
How do I access The AD Studioscape™ and my digital Companion?
Simply scan the QR code included with your candle using your smartphone or tablet. It will take you to the digital experience created specifically for your candle, where you can access The AD Studioscape™ and its accompanying Companion.
There is no separate physical companion book included with standalone Experience candles unless specifically stated in the product listing.
Do I have to use the Studioscape and Companion every time I light my candle?
Not at all. Your candle is designed to be enjoyed however it fits into your day. Light it while reading, working, journaling, getting ready, entertaining, or simply relaxing at home.
When you want the complete experience, scan the QR code and add the Studioscape and Companion. Think of them as another way to experience your candle, not a requirement for enjoying it.
What do I need to enjoy The AD Studioscape™?
You'll need an internet-connected device capable of accessing YouTube, such as a smartphone, tablet, computer, or compatible smart TV.
For a more immersive experience, you may also choose to cast the scenic video to a television or larger screen and play the audio through your preferred speakers.
A standard YouTube account works, although advertisements may occasionally appear. YouTube Premium is recommended for uninterrupted viewing but is not required.
What is the AD Studio Companion™?
Each Companion is a digital PDF created around the theme of its candle. Depending on the experience, it may include thoughtful prompts, ideas, observations, recipes, exercises, recommendations, or simple ways to bring the candle's atmosphere into everyday life.
The Companion isn't homework and there's no particular way you have to use it. Browse it at your own pace, return to the parts you enjoy, or simply use it when you're in the mood for something a little more intentional.
Can I use the Studioscape without burning the candle?
Absolutely.
Your Studioscape can be enjoyed independently whenever you'd like its music and scenery in the background—while working from home, reading, journaling, having your morning coffee or tea, winding down, or simply creating a different atmosphere in your space.
Likewise, you can enjoy your candle without playing the Studioscape.
Is The AD Studioscape™ original AD Studio music and video?
The Studioscape itself is curated by AD Studio, but the music and scenic video content featured within it may be created and owned by independent artists and content creators and made available through YouTube.

How can I get the best burn from my candle?
Before each burn, trim the wick to approximately ¼ inch. Place your candle on a stable, heat-resistant surface away from drafts, children, pets, and flammable materials.
On the first burn, allow the wax to melt evenly across most of the surface before extinguishing it. This helps encourage a more even burn throughout the life of the candle.
Never leave a burning candle unattended, and discontinue use when approximately ½ inch of wax remains at the bottom of the vessel.
What if my QR code or digital experience isn't working?
First, make sure your device has an internet connection and try scanning the QR code again using your phone's camera.
If the QR code is damaged, isn't scanning correctly, or you're unable to access the digital content, contact Awaken Destiny | AD Studio for assistance. Please include the name of your candle so we can help you access the correct experience.
Can I give an AD Studio Experience candle as a gift?
Absolutely. In fact, that's one of the reasons the experiences were created.
The recipient receives more than a candle: they can discover the fragrance first and then scan the QR code to reveal the Studioscape and Companion created to accompany it.
No special subscription or additional purchase is required to access the included AD Studio digital content. A YouTube Premium subscription is optional if the recipient prefers an ad-free viewing experience.
How long will I have access to my AD Studioscape™ and Companion?
Your QR code is designed to give you ongoing access to your candle's AD Studioscape™ and digital Companion, so you can return to the experience even after your candle has finished.
Because some of the music and scenic content featured in The AD Studioscape™ is provided by independent creators through third-party platforms such as YouTube, individual videos or music may occasionally become unavailable or change without our control.
If that happens, AD Studio may refresh, replace, or update the Studioscape with thoughtfully selected content that complements the original mood and intention of your candle.
While we can't guarantee that every individual piece of third-party content will remain available indefinitely, our goal is to keep your AD Studio experience beautiful, relevant, and enjoyable for as long as possible.
