About Us

To "awaken" is to become aware. In that awareness lies one's destiny of personal empowerment. At Awaken Destiny Imports, our mission is to enliven and awaken your senses by offering products that inspire and stimulate imagination and creativity, while bringing cultural awareness and giving back to communities.

We are a combination of tradition and new-era design. Our products are unique and our themed Collections each focus on handcrafted cultural goods from around the globe. Many of these items are created by indigenous artisans. You will find our respect for tradition and cultures of the world in our African Inspirations, South America, and Asia Collections. With each item purchased from these Collections, $1 US dollar of the proceeds will be donated to non-profit organizations that support the education, legal rights, and cultural sustainability of indigenous peoples around the world.

Our Namaste, Innovations, and Masculine Collections house our fine jewelry items, innovatively re-imagined every day accessories, and our more forward-visioned styles and designs.

And with our blog, The Awaken Journal, we will bring you fascinating articles on everything cultural: from art and jewelry, to architecture, to ways of life representing the vast richness of humanity.

Our non-profit partners are:

Survival International Survival International.org - "We exist to prevent the annihilation of tribal peoples and to give them a platform to speak to the world so they can bear witness to the genocidal violence, slavery and racism they face on a daily basis. By lobbying the powerful we help defend the lives, lands and futures of people who should have the same rights as other contemporary societies."

Cultural SurvivalCultural Survival.org - "Cultural Survival supports a movement of empowered Indigenous Peoples organizing their communities to engage the international processes, national policies and human rights bodies to respect, protect, and fulfill their rights. Our organization is Indigenous-led and has a diverse board of directors bringing experiences from the Indigenous and non-Indigenous worlds to inform our perspectives and scope of work."

Ancestral Lands Conservation CorpsAncestral Lands.org - "Ancestral Lands engages Native youth and young adults in meaningful conservation projects on Native and Public Lands."
